Beloved husband of Kathy. Loving father of Dawn (Brian) Switzer and the late Rebecca Johnson. Proud grandfather of Sam, Alex, Paige, Jacob, Ashley and Kendall. Great-grandfather of Nora, Calvin, Eloise and Lainey. He is also survived by one brother, Ronald Vitovich.
Mr. Vitovich was an Army Veteran. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling to Florida and fishing.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Thrive Church, 680 W. Livingston Road in Highland, Michigan. The family will receive friends at church from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 12:00 pm. A committal service along with military honors will follow at 1:30 pm at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Michigan Humane Society or a charity of donor's choice.
