Agnes Marie Rusticus

Agnes Marie Rusticus (Veenstra), age 84, of Holland passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. She was born on January 27, 1935 at Hurley Hospital in Flint, Michigan to Edward and Bertha Veenstra. She was employed at Meijer Markets in Holland for 31 years. Her hobbies were crafting, home making, cooking, and baking. She also loved to travel and did! But her main time was spent in studying God’s Word. She was a devoted follower of Jesus and made it known to her children and grandchildren at every opportunity she had. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother and made an excellent home for her family. She and her husband were married 64 years at the time of her entering into Glory with her Lord and Savior! She is survived by her loving husband, Hotze Ybe (Ike) and her children, Vicki Rusticus of West Olive, Tim and Barb Rusticus of Zeeland, Michael Rusticus of Holland, Linda Lamer (Rusticus) and her husband Robert of West Olive. Her eldest son, Gary Rusticus, preceded her in death by 3 days. One granddaughter Kayla Rusticus preceded her in death as well. She is further survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St. in Holland. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00 am at Harlem Reformed Church, 6854 144th Ave. in Holland with Rev. John Nyitray officiating.
