Hank worked as a teacher and counselor at Union High School for 26 years, as a chiropractor in Zeeland for 38 years, and was a Help Line volunteer for 17 years. Hank could be found wood working in his spare time. Hank was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his 1st wife Marilyn
He is survived by his wife Ruth Hoekstra; daughters, K. Dawn (Brian) Devereaux, and Lori (Mark)Hoezee; 8 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; many extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be 1pm, Friday, August 30, 2019 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. Burial will be in Zeeland Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12-1pm Friday prior to the service at Lakeshore Memorial.
