Joan Juliann Pinks, born 1939, joined her Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 8, 2018, surrounded by her husband and 5 children. Originally from Moline, IL, Joan and her husband migrated north to Holland, MI in 1986. Joan was a devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a hard worker and a friend to everyone she met. She was preceded in death by her parents (Art and Rachel) and her youngest daughter, Suzanne. She is survived by her husband, James; three siblings Maureen, Donald, Susan; Five children Cathy, Julie, Cindy, Steve, Mark; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Holland. A luncheon will follow the service.
