Paul Jay Volkers

Paul married Delores Teske on November 1, 1957, in Middleton, Indiana. He served in the Navy Mobil Construction Battalion and was honored with the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon and the Good Conduct Ribbon. Paul was a dedicated worker and has been retired from Consumers Power for 20 years.

Paul is survived by: his wife, Delores; sons, Mitch Volkers and Steve Volkers; daughter, Linda (Rod) Vivian; grandchildren, Jay Volkers, Justin (Brit) Volkers, Alex Vivian, Kyle Vivian; great grandson, Harley Volkers; sister, Lillian Veldhers; brother, Daryel Volkers; and many nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by: his father, Lester (Fay) Volkers; mother, Gladys Brunner; son, Gary; and granddaughter, Stacey.

Visitation will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 389 James St, Holland, MI 49424, on March 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Funeral Service will follow at Peace Lutheran Church on March 6, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am. A Committal Service will take place at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 994 Paw Paw Dr, Holland, MI 49423, on March 6, 2026, at 1:00 pm with military honors.
