Robert worked for 7-up for many years, retiring in 1999.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter and Freda Rasmussen, a daughter Cindy Rasmussen, and a brother, Peter Rasmussen, Jr.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Marla Rasmussen; his daughters, Vicki (Van) Trumble, Laura Fortune, Patti (Paul) Mikol; sons, Robert Rasmussen Jr., Russell Rasmussen, Alan (Nancy) Knoll; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Shaw; and 2 nieces.
A memorial service will be 2:00pm, Monday, December 8, 2014 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. Rev. Andy Fiero will officiate.
Visitation will be Monday, from 1:00pm until the time of the service at Lakeshore Memorial.
