Wanda Jean Weiss, a beloved resident of Holland, Michigan, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on November 16, 1933, she was married to William Weiss in June 1949, and together they shared over 60 years of marriage, building a loving family and creating countless cherished memories.
She is survived by her children, Vicki (Jim) Brinkman, Deborah (Dennis) Sturtevant, and John (Audrey) Weiss. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Geoff (Angie) Brinkman, Shannon (John) Teachout, Laura (Jason) Shafer, Joshua (Belinda) Sturtevant, Sarah Sturtevant, Ben (Darcy) Weiss, Steve Weiss, Nick Weiss, Phillip (Alana) Nevins, and David (Elizabeth) Nevins; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Wanda was deeply involved in her community and church and known for her generosity and kindness. She enjoyed making all kinds of crafts, especially sewing, quilting, and knitting that she gave away to her family and friends and donated to community organizations to those in need. Wanda was also a dedicated family historian, ensuring that the stories and memories of her family were preserved for future generations. After the passing of her husband, her church community, neighbors, and friends became an extended family, providing her with comfort and companionship.
Wanda Jean Weiss will be remembered as a nurturing, compassionate, and devoted individual who touched the lives of many. Her memory will live in the hearts of her family and friends.
