A shipmate and one of my best friends on USS George C Marshall.  We shared good times on board and ashore in Rota Spain and in Scotland during one of our rare port calls. He will be missed by me and all who knew him.


I share many patrol memories with him while we were shipmates on the George Marshall in the mid 1970's.  Bill was a real friend and an overall good person that was admired and respected by all.  Many people will miss him.
Rest in peace shipmate.  

It was a pleasure working with Bill at Indian Point.  He was a true gentleman and will be missed. 

I worked with Bill for many years at Indian Point -- he was a true professional, always calm, always thoughtful of others. Rest in Piece my friend, know that you will always be remembered with us here at the point.

I worked with Bill at Indian Point from 1978 to 1994. Bill was truly a genuine gentlemen who was respected by all that knew him. He was soft spoken and always had a smile on his face.  I am sure he will be missed , but please take comfort in the fact that he will always be fondly remembered by the many people whose lives he touched.

I will always fondly remember my early years working with Bill at IP3. Bill was a true gentleman and a very wise man and I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with him. Bill and his family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Working with Bill at Indian Point 3 was always a pleasure, he was always helpful and kind.  The type of person who made a challenging work environment easier to handle.  My condolences. 

I had the honor of meeting Bill when he took a vacation to Holland when I was stationed there.  He shook my hand and right from he start he was exemplary and showed me what a sincere and kind person he was. Words cannot express how much it was an honor to know a fellow service member. I know he is in heaven looking down at all of us. Salute to you Bill!

I had the privilege of working with Bill at Indian Point just prior to his well earned retirement.   He was the consummate professional, and served the station with the same dedication that he served his country.    My deepest condolences.

Bill work with my team at IP3 for many years.  He was a very competent & caring person who I valued very much.  My condolence to Betty & the family.  

My condolences to the Hamlin family.  Bill was an insightful and very gentlemanly person.  As a young man working with him at NYPA IP3 he shared many hints and tips about being patient.  Thank you Bill for your pearls of wisdom.

My sincere sympathy to the Hamlin family. I live in Holland, Mi, South side, having retired from IP2    6years ago. I did not know Bill personally, but find it ironic that another IPEC  employee had also lived in Holland all this time, and I didn’t know that!

We have many fond memories of working with Bill at NYPA IP3 so many years ago.  Our condolences and prayers for his family.

I worked with Bill on numerous occasions at NYPA.  He was always a good guy to work with, and he had some great stories.  My deepest sympathy to the Hamlin family.

I shared an office with Bill at IP3 for many years.  He was one of the kindest, funniest men I have ever had the pleasure to work with.  I often talk about how Betty would make her Peanut Brittle and send it in with Bill's lunch.  I was given the recipe and still make it every year at the holidays.  Bill, thank you for the great technical discussions, quoting Blazing Saddles back and forth, and always bringing a smile to my face.  Betty....sorry for your loss.  My prayers are with you and your entire family..... Liz
