Aleksandar Railic

It is with a heavy broken heart that we announce the death of our beloved father and husband Aleksandar Railic "Sasa" 💔😞 Born: 12/27/1965 - Death: 12/21/2025. Aleksandar is survived by his Son; Marko, Wife; Georgeta & 90 year old father; Trivo Railic. Over the past couple of months he was struggling privately, going in & out of the hospital multiple times, & ultimately trying to overcome severe kidney & liver failure. Few have known what our family was going through for the past several months, however my mother & I have done everything in our power to keep him alive, ensured he had the best treatment possible, go to the hospital daily to visit him in between university & work, etc.

My father Aleksandar "Sasa" was a great person to everyone he met, & would always try & joke or "shega" with people, He brightened every room he entered & was the type of person to help anyone in need, he would even give the shirt off his back to everyone in need. in Yugoslavia he got an associates in economics, & traveled the world playing accordion with Abrasevic ensemble for years. Got his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering in USA and worked as an engineer for over 25 years traveling all over the country.

Aleksandar came to America in 1990, & was a pillar in South Florida "Yugoslav" / "Serbian & Romanian communities". My mother & him ran a dance group across two churches for over a decade teaching people a wide variety of dances from all over the region & different countries. He also helped organize a lot of fundraisers & events for both churches to help raise funds for not only the dance group, but the church & overall community. He had a lot of love in his heart, he loved everyone, & especially loved & was proud of the local South Florida Balkan Community. Unfortunately, he had a lot of love for everyone but failed to love himself & his body and today he lost a life battle. I know God gained an angel today. I LOVE YOU TATA.😭😭😭🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

During this time, we his family (Marko and Georgeta) and his extended family in Serbia need a few days to grieve our unfortunate loss as we process this situation & get his funeral date arranged. Please pray for his soul 🙏❤️😭
