Ali or Al as she is affectionately known was born in Kingston, Jamaica on February 5th, 1963 to Eric and Nellie Johnson.
She went to school initially in Jamaica and finished her studies in the United States.
She married Ronald Chuck on June 21st 1994 in Broward County Florida. She graduated from American Sr. High School and then went into her occupation of choice as an insurance agent. She shared the same passion for gardening as her mom and was very involved in her children’s lives.
Althea is preceded in death by her parents Eric and Nellie Johnson, and numerous aunts and uncles. She is survived by and lovingly remembered by her husband Ronald, children Ryan, Kristina, Erica, Renee and Robyn, brother Garry, sister Dionne, grandchild Aaralyn, and her last surviving aunt, Joan, numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, in Hollywood, Florida
There will also be a viewing on Tuesday, May 21st from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.
