Amanda was born in Queens, NY to Bhoopaul and Mohani Ramkissoon. She went to school at Fort Lauderdale High School where she received her High School Diploma. She graduated from Broward College with her Associate's Degree and DeVry University with her Bachelor's Degree. She worked as an instructor for Oracle Cerner teaching students to use medical health databases for several years.
Amanda is survived by her daughter, Zarah Kareena Da Cruz; her sister, Amelia Ramkissoon; and her parents, Bhoopaul and Mohani Ramkissoon.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 10:30am on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, Cemeteries, and Crematory at 6301 Taft ST, Hollywood, FL 33024.
