Barbara Christine Grant

Barbara, was born Baltimore, Maryland to Charles Fyvie and Ruby Weaver on December 7, 1934.  She worked in billing at Miami Water Company and retired after 30 years. 

Barbara married Murray Grant in 1994. She would volunteer at Epworth United Methodist Church for many years and loved the ocean. She was always good to people. Family was everything.

Barbara is preceded in death by mother, Ruby Weaver, husband Murray Grant, sister Kryn Thompson and grandson David Brockway.                           

Barbara is survived by daughter Cindy Pinder and son in law Timothy Pinder, Son Curtis Brockway, Son George Brockway and daughter in law Terry Brockway, Son Richard Brockway. Grandchildren, Brian Pinder, Tara Spears, Curtis Brockway, Vernon Brockway. Great Grandchildren Cheyla Pinder, Laken Pinder, Ty Pinder, Hadley Pinder, Hannah Pinder, Timothy Spears, Sarah Spears, Jack Spears, and Great, Great Grandson Timothy Hendrix Spears.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, July 15, 2023 at Epworth United Methodist Church, located 7651 Johnson St, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024

Following service is burial, Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Gardens North located at 3001 N 72nd Ave, Hollywood FL 33024. 

Gathering for food at Uncle Al’s, located 8200 Griffin Rd, Davie, FL 33328 after burial services.

Food will be provided.
