Beatriz Hurtado Davoodi

Beatriz was born in Lunahuana, Peru on July 1st 1954 to Eladio Bernardino Vicente Hurtado and Saturnina Consuelo Espiritu Hurtado. She graduated from the National Peruvian Nursing School - Childrens Hospital in 1974. She immigrated to the United States shortly after and met her future husband. Beatriz married Mahmood Davoodi on March 21, 1981. They raised two children, Roozbeh and Farah and recently welcomed two grandchildren, Sebastian and Luna.

Beatriz was always the party planner. Whether it be a wedding, engagement, graduation, birthday, anniversary, national holiday, you could count on Beatriz to plan a fabulous party. She always knew how to make beautiful flower arrangements for a special occasion or for just at home. In addition, she loved her parrots, having raised Sun Conures, Macaws and her most recent parrot, Rico, an African Grey. 

Beatriz is survived by her husband, Mahmood, her two children, Roozbeh and Farah, her grandchildren, Sebastian and Luna, her mother, Consuelo, her siblings, Rosario and Marco, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation (wake) will be held on Wednesday, September 07, 2022 at 6 o'clock pm at Fred Hunter's - Davie-Cooper City. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 08, 2022 at half past twelve o’clock at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church in Davie, FL followed by an entombment at half past 2 o'clock at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL.
