Mrs. Consuelo Perez

With deep love and sorrow, the family of Consuelo Perez announces her peaceful passing on November 2, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on September 3, 1939, in Perico, Matanzas, Cuba, Consuelo lived a life full of grace, strength, and devotion to her family.

After emigrating from Cuba, Consuelo made her home in Hollywood, Florida, where she built a warm and loving community around her. She was known for her kindness, her unwavering faith, and the love she shared so freely with everyone who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts and lives of her family and friends.

Consuelo is lovingly survived by her devoted son Julio Perez and his wife Marta Maldonado; her son in law Jesus Souza; her cherished grandchildren Jesse Souza (and wife Sarah Souza) and Laura Santos (and husband Francisco Santos); and her adored great-grandchildren Frankie, Olivia, Xzavier, Kaelyn, Lucas, and Phoebe.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Consuelo’s life on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Hollywood Memorial Gardens West at 2:00 p.m.

Consuelo will be remembered for her loving heart, her laughter, and the countless memories she gifted to those who were blessed to know her. Though she is gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.
