Daniel Alfin, 36, passed away on February 2, 2021 while serving in his role as an FBI Special Agent. Daniel was a loving father, husband, brother and son. He was also a dedicated FBI agent who received many awards for his work. Daniel had an amazing, sarcastic sense of humor, a confidence in his own ability and a passion for his unique taste in music. He loved making people laugh and speaking his mind but never missed a chance to help someone. Daniel graduated with his Bachelor's degree from Florida State University in 2007. He recently graduated with his Master's degree in December 2020 from Florida Institute of Technology. Daniel joined the FBI in 2009 and was placed in an office in Albany, New York. From day one in New York, Daniel's goal was to make it back to "glorious" South Florida. After a three year stopover in Maryland he made it to Florida and was "living the dream." Daniel is remembered with love by his wife, Jessie, his son, Elijah, his mother, Phyllis, his siblings, David, Denis and Deborah and his sisters-in-law, Diana and Kate. He will forever be "our hero".
