Daphne was born in St. James, Jamaica and emigrated to England in the 1950s where she worked in health-care. She immigrated to the United States in 1979 to further her career.She was an incredible mother, grandmother, great-grandmother aunt and friend to many. She loved Jesus and sacrificed much to the benefit of her beloved family.Predeceased by husband Richard, daughter Carol May; and sisters Clara, Esther, Doris, and Agnes.Surviving family members are daughters Monica and Yvonne; sons Victor, Roy, and Colin. Fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great- grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
