David Charles Foulkes

David was born to Erskine and Edith Foulkes on February 12, 1934. He went to school at Staniard Creek All Age School. David married Monica Helen Foulkes on October 7, 1967. He worked as a carpenter for many years. David was also a founding member of the Cosmopolitan Baptist Church.

David is preceded in death by his parents Erskine and Edith Foulkes, three sisters: Theresa Coakley, Hilda Etienne, and Althea Lewis and two deceased brothers: Erskine and Oscar.

David is survived by his devoted and loving wife: Monica Foulkes; his daughters: Avanell Whyms (Garland), Dr. Monique Williams (Cecil), Dacia Foulkes; his only son: Vermonte David Foulkes (Yvoncia); precious grandchildren: Valentino, Anthony, Lamonte, Chanelle, Giovanni and Zacharia; one brother: Julius Foulkes; nieces: Evangeline Jackson, Nancy Waller, Wendy Foulkes, Virginia Etienne, Dr. Donna Lewis, Michelle Lewis; nephews: Napoleon , Brian, Randy, Gareth , Dr. Dave ,Basil Lewis; Goddaughters: Grethel, Lenorece and Lenzetta, Chinyere; Godsons: Michael, Samuel, Devon; Other relatives and friends: Myrtle Foulkes, S.O Evans, Dorothy and Enoch Henfield, Glendamae and Stanley Williams, Flosetta Johnson, Ivan and Bernie Thompson, Roscoe and Rosenell Thompson, Dwight and Joan Thompson, Bain Family, Rahming Family, Rolle Family, Duncombe Family, Miller Family, Memorial Regional Hospital, Carnival Cruise line and a host of other relatives and friends

The visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday July 13, 2018 at Cosmopolitan Baptist Church. There will be another visitation on Saturday July 14, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 12:00PM at the church

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday July 14, 2018 at Cosmopolitan Baptist church. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens East. Arrangements are by Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.
