David Green was born in Trinidad, West Indies to Thomas and Ruth Green on September 25, 1941. He went to school in Marabella. He married Sarah Natalie Folkes on June 18th, 1975. He worked as a Welder in St. Croix and Puerto Rico for 14 years and as a Bridge Inspector Supervisor for Miami Dade Transit for 25 years retiring in 2010.
David Green is survived by his loving wife, Sarah. His sons: Richard, Andy, and Roger Green. His daughters: Laverne and Joy Green. His 16 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, along with his 2 sisters Shelia Scott and Floretta Brown.
The viewing will be held at 11:30am-1:30pmon Monday, 12/4/23 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home: 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm) on (Monday, 12/4/23 at Fred Hunter’s Memorial Gardens: 3001 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL with the Iman Abdul Hamid Samra of Masjiv, Miami Gardens, officiating. Burial will follow at Fred Hunter’s Memorial Gardens: 3001 N. 72nd Avenue, Hollywood, FL.
