

On Monday, September 5th 2016 Don Melbourne, 64 passed away peacefully at his home in Miramar, FL.
The funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on September 17, 2016 at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home. Pastor Norman Hemming will be officiating.
Visitation will be held from 11am - 12 Noon on September 17th 2016 at Fred Hunter's Funeral home, Funeral Service to follow at 12:00 pm and cremation is private.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter's.
Don was born in Mandeville, Jamaica on July 26th 1952. He graduated from Holmwood Technical School with an Associate's Degree in Instrument Technology form the College of Arts, Science and Technology (CAST) in Jamaica.
Don was married to Carol Pamela Melbourne (Hall) on July 12th 1980 for 36yrs and together they have three children but for him his children also included numerous Sons and Daughters that he mentored, loved and inspired.
Don worked at Alpart JA Ltd. And later at Nestle Jamaica and after migrating to Florida, USA in 1985 he worked independently at his own private businesses.
Don enjoyed playing and watching sports, and listening to music very much. He was an avid racecar fan and would grasp at any opportunity to debate the latest political trend whether it was for the USA or Jamaican governments. Don had the rare knack of maintaining contact with his close friends and buddies over the years and would spend countless hours talking about the great times he spent with his friends.
Don is survived by his wife: Carol Melbourne, his three daughters: Jodi-Ann, Peta-Gaye Melbourne and Donna-Kaye Dorval; his Son In Law: Dave Dorval; his two grandsons: David Immanuel & David Mathieu Dorval; his Mother: Rosaline Melbourne; his two brothers Roy and Orette Melbourne and their families, Nieces and Nephews, Brothers In Law and Sisters In Law and his many many friends.
