Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 13, 1926. Following high school, Dorothy graduated from Germantown Hospital School of Nursing with an R.N. degree. She worked for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (formerly known as New Brunswick Hospital) in New Jersey. Before moving to North Miami, she lived in Kendall Park, New Jersey.
Survived by two sons, Philip Oppenheim and his wife, Rosa Oppenheim, Harold Oppenheim, grandson, Karl Roesch, two granddaughters, Silvia Santos Morales and Mayra and her husband Neri Hernandez and sister-in-law, Nancy Froelich.
Dorothy will be laid to rest and placed alongside her late mother, Doris Read Cass at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Service will be private
