

Bruno was born in Havana, Cuba to Enzo and Carmen Gallo on March 3, 1960. He attended Chaminade High School in Hollywood, FL and later became a physician. He married Alisabeth Hearron on August 8, 2008 in Mexico. He worked as a neurologist and specialized in innovative and life enhancing treatments for Parkinson’s Disease. Throughout his life, Bruno was involved and a member of the Italian Foundation, the American Cancer Society, and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of America- Team in Training Cycling Member. Professionally and personally, he was also active in the Parkinson’s Foundation. After completion of his Epilepsy/EEG neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital, Bruno developed a keen interest in movement disorders at the National Parkinson Foundation during his training. While in practice he acquired expertise in deep brain stimulation and was among the early pioneers of this therapy. He held the position of the Director of the Parkinson and Neuromodulation Center at Baptist Hospital. He is the recipient of the Peritz Scheinberg Clinical Neurology Award and completed the Bowman-Gray Mini-Epilepsy Fellowship.
Bruno is preceded in death by his beloved father, a renowned sculptor, Enzo Gallo.
Bruno is survived by his mother, Carmen; brother, Julio, his ex-wife, Alisabeth and sons, Barron Vincenzo and Ari William.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am- 1:30 pm on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Fred Hunter’s 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024 -954-989-1550.
Funeral services and burial will be held immediately following the visitation.
