He was born in Madrid, Spain. He came very young to the USA. He served in the United States Army from 1960-1962, and to the Army National Guard from 1963-1966.
He studied his elementary school years in Spain and finished his high school in Wingate Junior College in North Carolina. He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Puerto Rico, his Master's degree at the University of New York at Albany, and his post graduate studies at the University of San Francisco, CA (USF).
During his life he has been a teacher, a college professor, an assistant principal, and an author. He was also an administrator for a Spaniard organization, Casa de España.
In his spare time he played soccer and went with his friends scuba diving.
He represented Puerto Rico in the Pan American and Caribbean Games of 1966 in Soccer.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Myriam Estevez Ordonez; two children: Eduardo Ordonez, Jr. and Bryan Ordonez; two sisters: Rosa Maria Lukens and Fatima Ordonez; one brother: Ricardo Ordonez; one grandchild: Julian Edward Ordonez; and other relatives and friends.
