Schindeler, Edward J.A., 73, of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Edward was born in Scranton, PA on June 15, 1940 to August and Martha Schindeler. Edward was a retired Professor at Broward Community College and an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Carla C. Schindeler; daughter, Jennifer L. (Peter) Skangos of Oakton, VA; son, Vincent E. (Amy) Schindeler of Pompano Beach; grandchildren, Christopher, Kalyn, Cadence and Noelle. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 pm with a Chapel Service at 1:00 pm at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 718 S. Federal Hwy, Ft. Lauderdale, 33316.
