Elaine Marjorie Gonsalves was the beloved mother of Renison, mother-in-law of Marcia, grandmother of Elisabeth Cuomo, great-grandmother of Natalie and Matthew Cuomo, and sister of Ceclie, Ena, Frank, Jean, Kenneth, and Thelma. She is preceded in death by parents Joseph and Levinia Gonsalves and siblings Albin, Beryl, Christina, Edna, Frederick, Gerald, Lawrence, Leonard, Owen, and Ricardo.
Elaine always had a generous heart and spirit. She loved and was loved by all her family dearly. including her many nieces, nephews, and Godchildren. Her friendships were strong, loving, and everlasting. She had many dear friends in New York where she lived until 1999, in Florida where she lived most recently, in Trinidad, and in St. Vincent, West Indies where she was born.
She had a huge heart and taught many of us the value of family. She was an inspiration and will be deeply missed by all of us. We love her dearly.
