Faye Gordon

Faye was born in Monroe, NC to Will and Elsie Helms Crook on March 14, 1926. She went to school at Unionville High School, Unionville, NC. She married Rondall Gordon on December 22, 1946 in Monroe and was a homemaker for most of her married life. She and her family moved to south Florida in 1956 and were active members of New Testament Baptist Church until her death. She spent 29 years as a worker in the Cradle Roll Department.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents, brothers, in-laws and beloved husband Rondall.

Faye is survived by her children and their spouses: Vickie (Don Helms) and Dale (Donna) Gordon; 5 Grandchildren (Dennis, Debbie, Nikki, Allison and Ashley); 14 great-Grandchildren, and 2 great-great Grandchildren. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who dedicated her life to her husband and family. Her love knew no bounds and she will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be at 6:00 pm, Friday, September 7, 2018, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL. Entombment will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 8, at the Hollywood Memorial Gardens East Cemetery.
