Frank E. Sheets, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA. passed away on July 7, 2021 at Broward General Medical Center. Frank was born on August 27, 1941 in Bellevue PA. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Marylee, his daughter Nicole, his son Adam and his grandchildren that he adored Anthony and Violet. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy DeJohn and niece, Robyn Freeh. Frank was a proud veteran who served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany in the 1960s. He spent the majority of his career as a graphic artist and worked on media with many major organizations like the Orange Bowl. Frank was also a talented artist and enjoyed drawing and painting. He retired from Broward County Public Schools in 2011 as an employee at Harbordale Elementary. The family will be receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm on Thursday July 15th at Fred Hunter Funeral Home 718 South Federal Highway, Ft. Lauderdale. A graveside service will be held at 10am on Friday July 16th at Lauderdale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Operation Homefront an organization that helps veterans and their families.
