George N. Clarke Jr., 71 of North Lauderdale, Florida passed away November 22, 2015. George has been a resident of South Florida for the past 4 years coming from Weymouth, Massachusetts. He was an Amazing Artist and wood carver, He could make a piece of wood come to life. His heart and soul went into his work.
George was the man to ask for all of your questions. He always had the answers. He was also very resourceful, he was like MacGyver.
He always loved his wife and now they are together. He loves his family so much. If those loved ones lived far he felt them in his heart and were close to heart. He was so proud being a grandfather. He kept his emotions inside but always talked about his brothers, sisters, mom and dad to others.
He is survived by his children; Yvonne Doty, Michelle McSweeney, Caroline Wagner, Chris Clarke and Tanya Clarke, his mother, Doris Clarke, his brothers and sister; Don Clarke, Judy Pula, Bob Clarke, and Rick Clarke, his grandchildren; Jason Doty, Jenifer Doty, Patrick McSweeney, Nicole McSweeney, Kyle Wagner, McKenna Clarke, Quinn Clarke, Victoria Clark, Joshua Charles, his great grandson, Odin, and his son in law, Russell R. Charles.
George was preceded in death by his wife Leigh Clarke.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00am Saturday, December 12, 2015
at St Jerome Catholic Church in Weymouth, MA.
