Born in Camaguey, Cuba on October 3, 1944, son of Eusebio Gonzalez and Elva Hamilton George and his family immigrated to the United States in 1952 settling in West New York, New Jersey. Following his education, George enlisted in the United States Air Force where in served in Okinawa. He attained the rank of Airman. He then moved to California until 1967 when he moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He worked as a Finance Manger for Miami Lakes Auto dealership until this past December. George enjoyed baseball, astronomy and all types of cars.
Survived by mother, Elva Hamilton; aunt Eloise Dortta, his longtime companion, Marie Gervacio, four daughters, Catherine Hamilton, Heather Watson, Nicole Hamilton, and Cynthia Hamilton; son George Hamilton, Jr; step-son Wayne Blizzard; brother, Geraldo Gonzalez; two grandchildren, Tucker and Emilia Watson.
A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate the Life of George will be held on Thursday, February 27th from 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M. with a service beginning at 7:30 at Fred Hunter's Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street in Hollywood. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private.
