Gianna was born in Chicago, Illinois and lived most of her life in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Her most loved hobbies included poetry, caring for animals, and watching many hours of anime. She would be graduating from Charles W. Flanagan high school in two months and was looking forward to attending college. She will be remembered for her loving nature, sense of humor, and artistic talent. Often soft spoken, Gianna touched many lives through her thoughtfulness and compassion.
Gianna is survived by her mother Erica Kane-Ugartechea of Pembroke Pines. Henry and Kim Ugartechea of Chicago, Illinois. Big brother Mark Ugartechea, her grandparents, uncles, aunts, boyfriend Andre Creer, and too many friends and other loved ones to list.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support in many heart-felt forms.
