Gilbert Flauto

Gilbert Flauto was born August 28, 1960, in Queens, New York to Ralph and Virginia Flauto of Brooklyn, New York. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Virginia Flauto and several Aunts and Uncles.

Gilbert had a wonderful childhood full of happiness and fun, along with his sister Katherine on Long Island, New York. His loving parents moved to Florida in 1973 and he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, personal fitness, antiquing and collecting. Gilbert was a graduate of Cooper City High School.

He later married and was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Courtney, who was the sunshine of his life.

Gilbert was retired from the City of Hollywood, Florida after 25 years of service.

Gilbert cherished his only 6 year old Grandson, Sean Flauto. He will be missed greatly by his daughter, grandson, sister, family and friends.

Gilbert is survived by his beloved Daughter, Courtney Virginia Flauto, beloved Grandson, Sean Flauto, sister, Katherine Kneuer, brother in law, Charles Kneuer, nieces, Stephanie Kneuer, Krista (Kneuer) Wilson and husband, DustinWilson, Payton Wilson and Nephew, Knox Wilson of Georgia.

A private cremation was requested by family.
