Inez Lee

A memorial service honoring her life will be held at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home from 6-8pm on Friday, April 28, 2023. Father James Quinn will be officiating.

Inez was born in Bluefields, Nicaragua on July 22, 1943. She was the eldest of three siblings, her younger brothers currently reside in Nicaragua. Inez lived in Nicaragua during her early years before immigrating to the United States in 1972 where she settled in Queens, New York. Inez later met and married Herbert E. Lee in 1976. They were married for 11 years before Herbert’s passing in 1987.

Inez owned a successful auto insurance agency in Brooklyn, New York for many years, before retiring to South Florida in 1990. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who spent her later years supporting her family and granddaughters, especially during their early school years. She loved visits from family and friends, as well as reading her Bible and attending church services until her health declined.

Inez is survived by her loving children Andrew and Yvette, her daughter-in-law Laura and her granddaughters Lily and Alexa along with numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

The family of Inez Lee wishes to thank Trustbridge for helping to care for Inez over the last months of her life. Their in-home care and support ensured she was able to depart this world peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
