James Bascom

James Weldon Bascom, 40, of Hollywood, Florida, passed away on April 20, 2018. James was born in Bellflower, California on April 2, 1978. He graduated from Stanwood High School and served in the United States Air Force. James was married to Dorothy on January 16, 2009; they were married nine years. James worked as a Mail Carrier for The United States Post Office for 18 years. He enjoyed boating, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, snowboarding, camping, playing the guitar, and playing with his kids. He was also actively involved in helping the Red Cross and anyone that needed assistance. James is survived by his wife Dorothy,children Nylah and Leah, mother Cynthia, siblings; David, Jennifer, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Christopher, and Richard family Cyndia, Drice, Desire, Anthony, Alyson, and Ethan, along with inlaws and several nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.
