

the arms of his loving wife of 64 years Lucile Rispoli. Jerry was born in Port
Chester, New York on June 27th 1930 to Cecario Jerry Rispoli and Ida
Rispoli. Jerry was predeceased by his parents at age 7 when he was taken
in and raised by Julia Izzo of Port Chester, New York. While Jerry lived with
his Aunt Julia he served as an Alter boy at Corpus Christi Church and
attended Port Chester Schools. Once he was of age he enrolled in the
Navy to serve his country. Jerry served in the Navy aboard the USS Fargo
which was stationed in Italy from 1948 to 1949. After leaving the military
Jerry met and married the love of his life Lucille Cameron and they married
in Port Chester in October 1952. After their marriage, Jerry and Lucille
moved and built a home in Greenwich, CT there, they raised their five
children, all of whom attended Greenwich High School. While living in
Greenwich Jerry opened a successful Meter Repair Business in 1970.
Petroleum & Industrial Meter Repair was headquartered in Port Chester
and was run by Jerry until he sold it in 1995. Jerry was quite an inventor
and held several patents with the US Patent office in Washington DC.
While a resident of Greenwich Jerry and Lucille became avid golfers as
members of Milbrook Country Club. They traveled extensively, cruised the
Caribbean and made trans Atlantic crossings. They enjoyed a second
home in Pompano Beach until their retirement where they moved
permanently in 1992
In Jerry's retirement he served as the President of the board at the
Pompano Aegean, he also took up volunteering, Jerry volunteered for the
Coast Guard Reserve and then later for the Boca Raton Police department
where is was named "Outstanding Volunteer" in 2011 as part of the Men
With Caring Hearts. He was a volunteer for the Police department for 11
years, never missing a day of work until his illness in August of 2016.
Jerry is predeceased by his parents Jerry Rispoli, Ida Rispoli, his sister
Connie Dibiase of Tampa, FL, his brother Knute of Port Chester, New York,
a brother Thomas Rispoli of Rye, New York. He is survived by his wife
Lucille Rispoli, his two sons Jay Rispoli of Ridgefield CT, Knute Rispoli and
his wife Tracy of Royal Palm Beach, FL, his three daughters Nina Fisher
and her husband Dale of ST Augustine, FL, Kym Papp and her husband
Scott from the Florida Keys, and Lynn Edwards and her husband Rob from
Nashua, New Hampshire. Jerry is survived by eight grandsons, William and
Jonas Valle, Cameron and Patrick Fisher, and Justin and Sean Edwards.
One granddaughter Caitlyn Edwards and one great granddaughter Londyn
Valle. Jerry is also survived by his sister Ida Lorenzetti of Rye, New York
and his brother Mike Rispoli of Greenwich, CT.
A celebration of life will be held in Jerry's honor on March 5th, at the
Pompano Aegean at 3:00 pm and a Military Service will be held in Lake
Worth Florida, at the South Florida VA Cemetery on March 6th at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers the family asks' to please make donations to your local
hospice chapter.
