Jessie Kuzemchak

Jessie was born in Akron, OH to John and Jessie McDougall on September 11, 1931.  She went to school in Akron and married the love of her life, Michael on May 8, 1954 in Akron, OH. She graduated high school and worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company for many years before heading south to call Florida home.  After getting David, Debbie and Susan off to school, she worked as “Mrs. K.” at Hollywood Elementary as a Teacher’s Aide for 20+ years before retiring to Haines City, FL where she honed her golf skills, doing crafts – knitting, macramé and ceramics, volunteering and just enjoying retirement life. 

Jessie is preceded in death by both parents, John and Jessie McDougall, husband, Michael Kuzemchak and sister, Mae Phillips. 

Jessie is survived by son, David Kuzemchak of Old Town, FL, daughter, Debbie Hooten (Glen) of Crestview, FL, daughter, Susan Russell (Rick) of Park City, UT, Twin sister, Marion Bates of Columbia, SC, Granddaughter, Nakita Smoak (Alan) of Sunrise, FL, Granddaughter, Brittney Guagliardo (Adam) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and great-Grandchildren: Hayden, Svetlana, Caydence, and Owen
