Joel was born New York, New York to Jose and Mercedes Almonte on September 26, 1974. He went to school at Samuel Gompers, Bronx, New York. He married Ofelia Almonte on November 9, 2015 in Pembroke Pines, Florida. He attended college and educated himself in the field of IT and Network Infrastructure. He worked as a Cloud Support Engineer for Ultimate Kronos Group for 3 years. He received The Get Sh*t Done Award for the hardest working employee of 2021 and was promoted.
Joel is preceded in death by Felicia Romero.

Funeral services will be held 6pm-7pm Monday, May 9, 2022 at Fred Hunter Funeral Home with the Pastor Efrain Figueroa of Crossway Church, officiating.
