Our Son is in Heaven and won’t be with us this Christmas. I know he is at peace and no longer suffering. We miss him so much.

Wonderful Memories with Uncle John and Aunt Natalie  ——  
When our three sons were growing up, they, my husband, and I always had a wonderful time visiting Uncle John and Aunt Natalie at the holidays. One time they camped out in his living room!! John set up an actual tent LOL Great memories with “UJ” (Uncle John). He was the best uncle a kid could ask for

John my baby brother. My heart hurts so much knowing we’ve lost you. I always hoped, and prayed, that you’d get better. I know you are no longer suffering now which is the only thing that is bringing me any solace at all.
Little brother, we had so many good years, memories, and times we shared, from childhood into adulthood, that we loved to happily laugh and reminisce together about. 🥰🥰 We’d discuss and help each other through the trials and tribulations of relationships and just so many other aspects of life as well. I think we both agreed it was pretty cool having the advantage of the opposite gender for a sibling so we could try to figure things out from both sides. LOL 
Nobody can take those precious moments away that we spent during our lives together. I have to hand it to you — I’ve always said that you had a great work ethic that began as far back as a few places we worked together when you were still in high school.. Although you had to struggle in between, at times, you still kept tough through it all and worked hard at any job you had. Please rest peacefully Johnny. Your work on earth is now done. Nobody will ever be able to fill your place in my heart so no worries little brother I have it saved for you and you only. 
I miss you so much already.

One of my fondest memories of my little brother was how much he loved to go fishing. I remember when he was in high school and I’d be looking for him for one reason or another. Well, we did not have cell phones back then. However, I quickly learned where he would so often be.  I would always find him fishing in the canal near the post office. 🐟 🥰

When it all began……. You couldn’t say my name when you were a baby So, you’d say “TT” which became forever my nickname for you and your forever nickname for me was “little brother” It would make me smile every time you called me TT 🥰🥰 One of my favorite memories of us. I always looked forward to John saying it.

John was a kind, sweet, funny, helpful, thoughtful and smart. He was a really great step-dad to my son when we were together. He was arelaxed kind of guy. He loved to fish and hunt. He loved to work on his truck, often ending up with extra screws but it was put back together. He loved good food and especially steak & seafood. He was a good cook too!  He always did the dishes which was awesome. He cared deeply about his family but often had trouble sharing his true feelings with them. John told me everything. I will take his secrets to my own grave. It was traumatic watching his health decline but I am thankful I got to spend those days with him because nobody should have to face that alone.  I will keep his memory alive...he may have had his demons, but he deserved better. Xo

One more, of many, proud moments in his lifetime. Becoming altar boy at All Saints Catholic Church 🙏🙏

I will always remember the good times we shared with the real John and hate the battles that took him from us.  I know he is joining the grand parents he loved so much for a big dinner cause that is what heaven is like.  Save me some cabbage.

I'll never forget the time we went to the "island".  Our boss didn't know any better and sent us together. Sure we worked (maybe) but also found time to just cut loose.  Or even better, that time I picked him up while he was in the middle of working, loaded him on my boat and went for a ride on the river. We got off to explore this place and I jumped back in the boat and took off, leaving him there. You should have seen the look on his face...He was only there for a few minutes but I clearly remember that moment of panic he had. How in the world was he going to explain this to his boss! All just fun and games between the two of us. We were like brothers and I will miss him. Friends like John  are hard to come by.

John, When I gave this pocket watch to you, you immediately loved it, and you said to me that you’d keep it forever. I see that you did. I hope, and believe, it may have helped you at times. Love you little bro

John and I knew each other since elementary school. We reconnected as adults and got to share a handful of years together as husband and wife. We had alot of fun & happy times together. I knew his heart and soul was pure but he battled many demons. May you rest in peace now John. I will always love you. - Lindsay
