He is the son of the Late Mr. and Mrs. Egbert Morris from Chamber's Pen, Hanover, Jamaica.
He is survived by his loving wife Joyce (Joy)
Children:
Kelda, Golda, Shaneeka, John Jr., Glenroy, Ramon, Judith, and Karene.
Siblings:
Pernel, Roslyn, Rosetta, Karon, Audley, Hubert and Albert.
Eleven grand-children, and numerous nieces and nephews.
John served in the Jamaica Defense Force for a number of years before migrating to the United States, where he worked with the De Moya Group prior to his death, for over twenty years. He was a dedicated member of the Faith Center Ministries and a former member of the Mt. Olivette Seven Day Adventist Church.
Viewing will take place at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home and Service will be conducted at the Faith Center Ministries in Sunrise, Florida and burial will be at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (South) in Davie, Florida.
