His personality was larger than life the only thing larger was his heart. He would fill the room with joy and laughter when he entered. His presence was undeniable and his charm got you every time. They broke the mold when they made this incredible man.
He was loved by all who met him and maybe feared by a few.
He worked in every aspect of the Marine Industry for 40 years. He was instrumental in the Marine Salvage and Transport sector. He worked almost every Hurricane event that was of catastrophic nature. He couldn’t wait to put his knowledge to work getting these folks back to their normal lives as soon as possible. His knowledge and expertise were unsurpassed in all areas of the marine field.
When asked how is was doing he would always reply “I am living the Dream and putting out Nightmares”.
He was an avid boater. He was an instrumental part of the Offshore Powerboat Racing Circuit, P1 Offshore Racing, OPA Racing, Superboat International.
He was part of the Instigator Offshore Powerboat Racing Team. He loved them like family. This group of people changed his life.
He was in charge of orchestrating the salvage team that helps support the Offshore Racing events with Fast Response Marine Towing & Salvage.
I think he left an impression on every person he ever met judging by what I witnessed and have heard.
