Kurt Markowski

Kurt Markowski was born at Memorial Hospital, Hollywood FL to Saskia and Klaudius Markowski on July 11, 1986. He went to school at Pasadena Lakes Elementary and Pines Middle School in Pembroke Pines, FL and Franklin High School, Franklin TN. He graduated from WyoTech, Daytona Beach, FL on April 27, 2012 as a Marine Specialist - Advanced Marine. He worked as an Outboard Technician/Specialist at Dusky’s Sports Center, Dania Beach Fl and Nautical Ventures in Fort Lauderdale, FL., where he still has many friends, until he went into business of his own.

Kurt was an avid golfer since childhood and loved many other sports:

boating, deep sea fishing, sailing, hunting, motorsports and lobster fishing during the season. He loved the outdoors above all else and he was gifted in so many ways. Kurt had a green thumb and was an expert at landscaping and grew many vegetables in his backyard. Kurt loved animals, his tabby cat Kitty and his trusty dog Ace was always by his side..

Kurt Markowski is preceded in death by his uncle Ricky Dennert, his grandfather Hubert R. Dennert MD and his grandparents Maria and Henry Markowski.

Kurt Markowski is survived by his mom Saskia Dennert Markowski and dad Klaudius Albert Markowski. His aunt and uncles, Ilse and Gerrit

Waslander- Dennert and Frits Dennert and his grandmother Nora Bosselaar in the Netherlands. His cousins Ralf and Sara, Marcel and Lynn, Arno and Quincy Waslander. His extended Raven and Ponson families in Aruba, honorary grandmother Evelina Raven, aunts and uncles, cousins, nephew and nieces.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, FL 33024, at 11:30AM. Anyone attending may share their special memories of Kurt at this time.
