Hollywood, FL -- Leo Joseph Lambert, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 23, 2016. He was survived by his wife of 25 years, Angela Lambert; his son, Denis Lambert, two stepsons, Michael and Anthony Bruno; three daughters, Ginette Lambert, Lisette Lambert, Nancy Lambert; two brothers, Jack and Gilbert Lambert; three sisters; Julienne Ltourneau, Edith Lambert, Berta Lambert; seven grandchildren and many close friends and family.
Born and raised in Abitibi, Canada, the son of Adlard Lambert and Bernadette Hardy. In his early years, Leo was a real life lumber jack. He worked 30 years at Abitibi-Price, a well-known forest-products firm in Toronto, Canada. Leo loved the outdoors, he owned his own farm and enjoyed his wooded surroundings where he loved to hunt.
In 1988 Leo moved to the United States where he traded his hunting knife for a fishing pole. He enjoyed going fishing with his brother Jack. Leo had a passion for cars and worked as a very skillful Mechanic in Hollywood, Florida. His clients became his friends.
Leo had a heart of gold and a smile that would lighten up the room. He will always be in our thoughts and forever in our hearts.
A funeral service was held September 27 at Fred Hunters Funeral Home in Hollywood followed by a private reception with family and friends.
