Lewis E. (Tony) Thompson passed away August 16, 2009. Born in Croydon, England, he served in the British Royal Navy in WWII and was one of the few survivors of the sinking of the HMS Egret by radio bombs in the Bay of Biscay in August , 1943. A resident of Florida since 1947 he was a local Public Accountant until he retired in 1986. He is survived by his loving wife Joan Houlihan and daughter Diane (Steve) Davis.
