Louis was born in Kingston, Jamaica on August 13, 1972. The family relocated to Brooklyn, New York in 1978, and this is where he resided the majority of his childhood up until his teen years. Miami was then blessed with Louis' presence in the fall of 1987.
Louis loved to swim, so much that he became a certified life guard as a teen. He was jack of many trades who was really great with his hands, and that allowed him to become a self taught barber, and excel at things such as roofing, painting, etc.
Throughout his lifetime, he positively impacted our lives with his passion and super big personality. Those that knew Louis, knew that he was and still is, one of a kind.
He is survived by his daughter; Shayna, mother; Charmaine, sister; Tamara, brothers; Donovan and Jason, his grandson; Shiloh, and tons of beloved family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Tamara and Shayna McDonald. The family of Louis McDonald wishes to thank Miami Dade College for all of the emotional and financial support.
Ruhfus will forever be missed. For his smile was brighter than the sun on the first day of Spring.
Truly, one in a million.
Our angel in heaven.
