Ma married Peter Lombardo, known as Papa, on May 1, 1965. They had two daughters, Marie Lombardo Ressler and Michele Lombardo MacIver (married to Scott). She had 8 Grandchildren, Andrew (married to Michele), Kevin, Shawn (married to Risha), and Ryan Ressler; and Luke, Maverick, Katie, and Bailey MacIver; as well as 2 great-grandchildren, Chase and Chance Ressler.
Ma loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended "family." She was a mother to all that needed one - or just wanted one more. She loved Superman, Jeopardy, and always told those around her, "Love you more" (and definitely meant it).
The service will be held on Thursday, June 17, 2021, at Fred Hunter's on University Drive and Nova Drive at 4 pm. Masks are required.
Ma was a lifelong animal lover. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to Georgia Animal Rescue and Defence, Inc. This no-kill animal shelter was a favorite of Ma's, and all 6 of her granddogs were adopted through this rescue. Donations can be made on GARD's website at www.gardonline.org.
