Mekhi Tariq Hoosein-Quiles

Mekhi Tariq Hoosein Quiles, 21, of Miramar,FL, passed away on July 2, 2024 in Miami Gardens, Florida.

Mekhi was born in Plantation, FL to Narisa Hoosein & Nelson Quiles Jr. on May, 25th, 2003. He graduated from Miramar High School in Miramar, FL. He worked for McDonald’s for 5 years. Mekhi was a talented artist with a promising future. He was recently accepted into St. Thomas University and wished to pursue a career in hospitality.

Mekhi is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Quiles.

Mekhi is survived by (his parents, Narisa Hoosein & Nelson Quiles Jr.. His stepmother, Amanda Rodriguez. His grandparents, Nelson Quiles Sr. and Naz & Manzil Hoosein. His Brothers, Kaden Hoosein- Ragbir and Jaiden Quiles, & Sister Alayla Quiles. His aunts, Alia, Alisa, Anisa, Tasha and Sonia. He also leaves behind an large extended family who will miss him dearly.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 7, 2024 between the hours of 12:30pm to 2pm at Fred Hunter's Funeral Home.

The family of Mekhi wishes to extend our sincere thanks to (his family, friends, and coworkers who had the chance to love him. We also thank the community for their support during this difficult time. We will continue to remember him as a great son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, honoring his compassion and the light he brought to our lives.

His loving impact will forever be present in our hearts.
