I work at the veterinary hospital that Monica brought her pets to. I recall her being one of the very first clients I took care of when I began working there a couple of years ago. She was always a pleasure to take care of and to talk to. I didn't know her very well but it was evident that she was a wonderful person and a compassionate and caring pet owner. Over the time that she became ill I truly was heartbroken for her over her ordeal and awed by the way she still cared for her pets. She was obviously a selfless individual. I recently heard of her passing from her brother and my thoughts and condolences, as well as those of the entire staff here at DPC Veterinary Hospital, are with the family during this difficult time. My favorite memory of monica is when we got to leave the hospital with our newborn daughter kayla i will always cherish our time together.
