Nancy Ramirez

The funeral service will be at Fred Hunter Funeral Home on May 23, 2021. Visitation will begin at 4 PM. Burial will be held at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery on May 24, 2021 at 12 PM. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter Funeral Home. 

Nancy was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico on March 8, 1965 to Gilda Velazquez and Jorge Castellon. 

Nancy was married to Ruben Ramirez in January 17, 1998; they were married 23 years. 

Nancy had four children and devoted her life to them, spending countless of hours on numerous ball fields.  Nancy was the heart of her family and always made sure her enormous family was loved in any way possible. She fought the fight hard for two years and enjoyed her shopping like no other. 

Nancy is survived by her husband Ruben Ramirez, her children Ashley Warnock (Daniel), Manny Silveira (Sarah), Ruben Ramirez Jr., and Nicholas Ramirez, her grandchildren Kaydence Warnock, Kamryn Warnock, Jaxson Silveira and Anakyn Warnock, her grand niece Sophia Fannon, her parents Gilda Castillo and Jorge Castellon, her nine siblings, four aunts, and countless nieces and nephews. 

Nancy is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Aracelia Mendez and Angel Velazquez as well as her paternal grandparents Hilda Velasco and Jorge Alfredo Castellon. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation in the name of Nancy Ramirez.
