Olander James Hickles arrived on September 9th, 1982. The name, Olander James never stuck and he and his brother soon became known as ‘Frank and Jesse’ after the James brothers. When the boys were younger, additional sons circled into the family. First Aaron, then Josh and Kenny. These years in Kansas City, MO, were filled with ESPN, bowling and football. In middle school, bowling was Jesse’s passion. With a Junior Olympic level trainer, Jesse bowled in league and state tournaments. He also played iron-man football, #32, at Parkville High School. He became a life-long fan after studying the game, players and stats. Always a Chiefs Kingdom resident. When Jesse was 17, in 1999, he moved to Florida. His first job was at French Fragrances in Miami Lakes, FL. He built pallets of fragrance products using a pallet jack and became a student of the warehousing process. In 2004, Jesse started working for Embraer in Ft. Lauderdale where his career took off. He later became known as a warehouse guru at Bombardier in Opa Locka, FL, his recent employer. Embraer is also where Jesse met the love of his life, Kimberly Carey. After 3 years of blissful dating, Jesse decided to ask Kim to spend forever with him and they were married in 2008. Together they were blessed with two amazing children, Kenneth and Jeremiah. Jesse enjoyed coaching his kid’s sports teams over the years and making many family memories at the beach. He and Kim were also very active foster parents, spreading love and care to over 50 children.
Jesse leaves behind his wife, Kimberly; two children - Kenneth and Jeremiah; Grandfather - Stuart Griffith, Grandmother - Louise Galvin; Mother - Kathleen Griffith; Brother - Derrik (Shannon) Rogers; Nieces - Tamatha, Katrina, Kassandra and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
