David, as he is known by his family and friends, was born in Danbury, Connecticut on Aug. 29, 1965 to Gertrudis Gonzalez and the late Dr. Rafael D. Gonzalez. David graduated high school in the Dominican Republic. He moved to Aventura, Florida in 1997. His interests included family, football and he was an avid Indy Car race fan.
David touched many lives. His enthusiasm for life brought a smile to all those who knew him. He will be truly missed by friends and family. David is survived by his loving mother, Gertrudis, of Aventura, FL; his brother Carlos and his wife Sonia, their children, Veronica, Anabelle and Sebastian, by his sister Evelyn and her husband Joaquin, their children Gabriella and Sophia, and by his brother Erick and his son Erick, Jr.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Fred Hunter's Funeral Home. Calling hours will be Sunday, January 22 from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm. Services will be held at 4:00 pm.
