Dear Kapila Family Please know that my mems of Papaji are sealed with happiness in getting to know him over the years. 
He was Papaji to all. 
He will be remembered for his gentle and nice ways with who so ever he met and one could appreciate his wonderful way he greeted all.

There are no words that can describe the grief that we feel at the sad demise of Ravi Chachji. But the consolation that remains with us are the numerous memories that we built during our visits to Fort Lauderdale. We will miss the concern, care, love and affection that he showered on us always. 
May the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace.

Ravi Chachaji lived to be 103 but what I will remember most is not his longevity but the quiet, steady kindness he offered  so effortlessly.   He had a way of reaching out to his nieces and nephews around the globe to make sure they were doing well. His surprise calls carried more warmth than he ever claimed credit for.
He wasn’t merely the head of his family but became a pillar for me too .
When he came for mama’s funeral, he brought with him a presence that felt like shelter.  In a moment of loss and uncertainty , he reminded me that I still had someone elder to lean on, someone whose wisdom and love flowed  without needing to be spoken.
His passing has opened a tender space in me. With him goes the last voice that called me “beta”, the last elder whose affection held traces of generation now gone. Realizing that has made the grief feel deeper - not just for the man he was, but for the sense of belonging he embodied.  Will miss you Chachaji!❤️

Mr. Ravi Prakash Kapila was a kind and affectionate man.  We had a friendship lasting 54 years, and never in that time did we ever have any argument or disagreement.  He served Arya Samaj Mombasa tirelessly, including as chairman.  Here is a picture of Mr. and Mrs. Kapila, holding young Suruchi.

Every year, I loved seeing the beautiful photos of your amazing Papaji celebrating his birthday and the incredible life he lived. Through your posts, I felt like I really got to know him and share in the joy and love of those special moments. Now, with his passing, I feel such deep sadness knowing he is no longer here with you or all of us who adored him.

I’m so sorry for your loss, Kapila family. He was truly an inspiration and a strong support for so many. His memory will live on in the stories you share and the love you all hold for him. Rest in peace, Papaji

Our dear Nanaji 
I used to call him Super man passed away peacefully at the age of 103.
He always kept everyone connected. Even while living in the USA, he stayed close to all of us in India.

I still recall the memory when I landed in Florida, he was standing near the elevator with a big smile on his face & he took me for a drive around the coastline, specially making an effort to take me around the city. 

I wish I could be a part of his 100th birthday celebration. 
He was a strong pillar of our family.
We will remember his teachings and continue to keep our family united, just as he did. Om Shanti 🙏

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the very sad passing of respected Uncleji.

At 103 years, he reached an incredible milestone — a life truly full of love, wisdom, and cherished memories. His remarkable legacy and the bond our families have shared for five generations will always remain in our hearts.

We feel deeply fortunate to have spent such wonderful, meaningful moments with Uncleji. His warmth and his weekly phone calls will be dearly missed.

Papaji was a special man with a special soul. 
He always had a smile and determination and grit to match. He always had strong and a positive attitude to life and its challenges. He never buckled under any illness and only spread positivity all around him. 

I was fortunate to know him and learned so much from his fortitude and  much else. He was fortunate to have his devoted sons Arvind, Soneet and equally loving daughter -in -laws Sneh and Prabodh. 
He deserved the love that was showered on him. 
His souls will be in peace and we will keep his beautiful memories alive forever.

Ravi Bharaji will be deeply missed by Prem and I — especially his infectious smile, sincere advice, loyalty, and the regular calls over the years ensuring we all kept in touch. We spent many memorable evenings together, enjoying his warm hospitality during his time in Mombasa.
He never raised his voice, yet always conveyed his point of view in a calm and convincing manner. I, for one, could never dare to say “no” to him. It was he who inspired me to take up community service — something for which I will be forever grateful.
We are thankful for his many years of dedicated service as Chairperson and committee member of Arya Samaj Mombasa.
Only those fortunate enough to have known him can truly appreciate the greatness of this humble, loving, and non-judgmental man.
A life well lived.

We are so sorry to hear of the passing of dear Ravi Chachaji, your beloved Papaji.  
What an extraordinary life he lived, filled with love, wisdom and resilience, making an impact on so many people across the years. 
I remember going to their house often in Mombasa with Baji and Mama and he always had a ready smile and a secret stash of sweets for me! 
Rakesh and I feel blessed to have reconnected with him over the years as he shared stories from the good old days. 
May the memories of his kindness, love and the incredible life he lived with you bring you peace and comfort.

Uncle’s smiling presence and his quiet dignity were a towering presence in his time at Ocean Royale. Seeing him walk alone, without anyone’s help ever, everyday in the lobby was just so inspirational. He emanated warmth, always. What an impact he made by a life well lived over a century and the love he gave & got from his adoring family. RIP, Sir!🙏🙏
