

Richard Dennis Lees, 77, of Miami, Florida, passed away on April 30, 2024 in
Miami Beach, Florida.
Richard was born on October 4, 1946 in Queens, New York to Evelyn and
Howard Lees. He attended Edison High School in Miami following which he
obtained his Associates degree from Miami Dade College. He was drafted
to the Army in June, 1968, and served his country in the Vietnam war until
June, 1970. He married June Alice Miller on October 16, 1999 in Ft.
Lauderdale, Florida.
Richard worked as a salesman for Cadillac automobiles for 25 years until he
retired in 2016. Richard was a member of the prestigious Cadillac Crest
Club, reserved for the company’s top salespeople.
Richard was an avid sports fan, and in particular the Miami Heat and Miami
Dolphins. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, loved spending time at the
beach and cooking.
Richard is survived by his wife June Miller, his daughters Felicia Ramirez and
Michelle Ramirez and his great grandchildren Anthony, Evelyn, and John.
He is also survived by his dog, Charlie.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at
Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024) beginning
with a viewing from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, followed by a military salute and
Celebration Of Life beginning at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that any contributions be made
to The Wounded Warrior Project in Richard’s honor.
